Seriously Opinionated Gamers Group

Formed in July 2007 from the ashes of the National Parteh Animals clan, The Seriously Opinionated Gamers set out from the start to promote their message of peace, universal love and choccy-topped biscuits through the UK Counter Strike Source community.

Following bitter in-fighting within nPa.uK over the conflicting interests of public server members versus the match-playing team, nPa split into two clans: Faith No More for the dedicated fraghunters and SoG for the elitist moaning workshy members. A year previously the nefarious Salamander and his scrounging scallywag army had left nPa under a cloud of suspicion and shame to form Team.SF, generally considered CSS's most evil clan. With the FNM baggage jettisoned, SoG were free to fight on unhindered! ;-)

SoG quickly cemented their place at the top of the UK CSS world by renting a server that 20% of their clan couldn't play competitively on. Never ones to give up, the affected players vowed to play on and in future use the high latency as a potential excuse for losing matches. No clan would beat SoG in a fair fight for SoG would never again have to take part in a fair fight. The game was afoot!
