My only regret is that only some weeks ago I finally got my uni degree and I have just started to look for a job. I was hoping, once I get proper income, to support on Patreon (or less controversial platforms) the creators and game devs whose work kept me up in my free time through 8 years of a physics bachelor in science. I would have loved to contribute to your channel. In a way I still do, but your video, honest as always and I respect that, comments on how that probably isn't for the best.

As your YouTube comments say: while the masses go for the flashy and meme content like a moth goes to a flame, the people who have had the pleasure of watching your guides know you're the best there is at PD2 and PD3 guides. I'm sure there's some devs with less in depth info about the game, and you could teach quantum tunneling to a philosopher and quantum suicide to a physicist (order absolutely intended) using only a 5 minute guide on them. Whatever you do next on your channel, despite you taking out the effort, will still be better than whatever false info popular content creators make, and with way less controversies against fans and other creators.

From when I subscribed your content has nothing but improved. I got so many achievements and game mechanic knowledge from you. I got to the true ending of Payday 2. When I went in a university student exchange and fell onto depression, the highlight of my week was joining the UK achievement hunting stream all Wednesdays, that was 3 pm in Germany instead of at night back in my home country Peru. After getting better, I was happy to interact with you and still consider you a friend. I was so happy to see your name finally recognised in the Tijuana heist, then my heart stopped with the title of your video 2 years ago, worrying that you would do what you're doing now. I rejoiced when seeing you as an Overkill partner. When you went full vtuber, I enjoyed the stream vod. And when Payday 3 entered the party with a great set of guns & unimaginable drip, then stepped on a banana peel as it crossed the doorway and went off the balcony, I was still delighted to watch your videos.

Thank you Unknown Knight, I truly thank you. Around 6 years ago, when I needed a probably easy achievement for Payday 2, I browsed guides to find out how to do it, and found yours. Your style of keeping info concise and direct, while also complete and easing the player into understanding it too is second to none. You provide appeal both to a person needing a video to follow step by step and someone just needing text instructions in one screenshot. All that was and still is excellent, and hard to find now, content full of useless speech branches, announcing sponsors, extending videos to get higher revenue, rants about something unrelated, and worst of all for wildly different reasons, midroll ads or joke guides that have no use.

A shame you want to stop making videos, but i get it. I've been doing YouTube for 12 or so years and honestly it's just too unpredictable. Some low effort meme video I produce will somehow do better than stuff i put whole days into.

Yeah checked it out. I do recall the community having mixed feelings about the gunplay when it was first released.
