Wrote this while high as ♥♥♥♥ and reflecting on life:

I dont even know if we have souls in the conventional sense, but maybe they can dislocate from our bodies. Originally, the "soul" was a mystical way of saying the "psyche". Some believe that our brain is like a radio receiver of consciousness, not a generator. Personally, I think that consciousness only has a tangible, self-aware form when its inside a nervous system/brain-stem, with its chemistry set of neurotransmitters and electrical wiring. Once you take the brain away, it ceases to be "human"...maybe there is some form of consciousness after the brain dissolves but I doubt its anything like "life" or "personality"

...if there is some sort of "afterlife", it will be stranger than we can possibly fathom
