Hegemony III, what a fun filled romp through Italian history, and by fun filled romp I mean civilization smashing and blood letting extravaganza that is unendingly cool. That aside, the game has its fair score of bugs and doesn't always explain mechanics. I have never been a fan of the Total War series; however, this was different enough for me to enjoy thoroughly as I learn the intimacies of the game. All in all I feel this game is exactly what I want it to be, giant pretty chess pieces rolling across a board that has no checkers and burning down towns with little men wearing purple pants. 10/10
