Introduction
Shadow of Loot Box is a FPS that has only one goal, to show you how modern games have turned to sh*t nowadays. From loot boxes, to micro transactions even to bad games that leave early access in a terrible state. It brings fourth these issues and puts you in 12 different levels showing you these modern game issues.

Gameplay
For the most part, Shadow of Loot Box plays decent for what the game is, and to expect the game to be high quality and well polished isn't something you should expect (but by no means does it mean the game is bad for not being polished). The game consists of 12 different levels that you have to progress through, each one being slightly different and showing us some issues with modern gaming (seeing a bit of a pattern here?). And to be quite honest, I enjoyed this game throughout. It's kind of like an eye opener for those who didn't know about these sort of games that are being published on steam nowadays (but lets face it who doesn't know of at least one of these sort of games. And with Steam Direct it's not really getting any better).

The general idea of the game is put together well, and the game gets it point across from the very start to the very end. From having to unlock basic abilities on level 1 such as jumping, interacting with objects, running and so on to removing levels entirely just so they could put across the point that developers do this just to add DLC to their games, this game has it all!

From the enjoyable experience throughout the game to the enemy types, the game really goes the extra mile to let you know about these bad issues in games. The enemies are basically loot boxes that you have to shoot with pretty average run of the mill weapons. Although there aren't a huge amount of enemy types, just different colours, the enemies are somewhat humorous to encounter and fight against. There's just something slightly satisfying about killing literal loot boxes in this game. But as for the gun play, pretty standard nothing really unique of different to point out there not that I was expecting something different about the weapons in this game.

As fun and enjoyable as the game is, there are a few issues with the game that I would like to point out. First of all, the controls feel slightly sluggish. Holding down WSA or D and then letting go will make you walk a half a second further than when you let go of the key. Something that is slightly annoying, but nothing too annoying that it makes the game less enjoyable. On top of that small issue, there is also a issue with jumping whereby if you jump whilst in the middle of a jump you would automatically do another jump when you land (I don't really see this as a issue seeing as I don't really think people would be spamming the jump button but still something I felt like I needed to add). As well as that, there are very few grammar issues in the game that could be easily fixed, again nothing game breaking but something that could just be patched to make it correct.

Graphics
Something that surprised me in this game is that the graphics are pretty nice even though the game is just bringing fourth issues with modern gaming. I was expecting the game to have kind of bad graphics just to bring the point across more about these games, but no the graphics are actually very nice. Nothing over the top, but there is a nice variety of different areas throughout the 12 levels that make it nice to look at and experience.

Pros
+ Enjoyable experience throughout the game
+ Brings fourth modern gaming issues that people seem to 'love'
+ Graphics are pretty nice, not something you'd expect from a game that just brings fourth issues with modern gaming

Cons
- Slightly sluggish movement controls, nothing that you would really notice if you weren't paying attention tho.
- Some slight grammar issues here and there

Result / Final Thoughts
Shadow of Loot Box has one goal, to show you how bad some games are nowadays. It provides a short 2 hour experience that you will thoroughly enjoy playing through in one sitting, from shooting loot boxes to playing through levels that are generally broken (and meant to be to prove a point) this game sticks with it's main goal.
