Michael (lead gameplay developer) here, sorry to hear you didn't have a good first experience with Obliteracers. I totally agree with you about the initial learning curve - it can be steep, but I encourage you to give it another go with your friends - we've actually had really positive feedback from many letsplayers about the quality of the vehicle physics and overall gameplay once you "get" it, but it definitely takes more than 6 minutes for most people to slip into the groove. :) Here's some guys having a blast with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pln-ml3keY8
