I wanted to like this. I tried playing it three times. First time, I got stuck and hit ESC to try and bring up a save menu. Instead I get booted out of the game with no autosave. Second time, I tried to CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open a walkthrough so I could progress the story. Instead, my computer went haywire and my mouse pointer was stuck in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, so I couldn't switch back to the game. Third time, I tried on a different computer (in case it was just a Linux issue) and nope, same problem with the mouse pointer.

After reading some discussions, I realized I'd made it almost to the end of the game anyway, so my reaction is "...that's it?" The Big Twist is predictable as soon as the game starts if you're familiar at all with the genre.

I guess the forced fullscreen and inability to save was intended to make the game more immersive, but the immersion's already ruined by the terrible voice acting and the tedium of wandering around clicking on random things a dozen times apiece until something finally advances the story. I generally like story-based games like this, but the technical issues just made me feel like this was a waste of my time.

Alt-Tab quickly switches from the game and back, so you'd be able to get back into the game when done watching a walkthrough, except I had the same mouse upper-left corner issue as well, so I couldn't search up any walkthroughs.
