Quite possibly my choice for 2012 Game of the Year. The visuals, gunplay, story and characters are all leagues ahead of its predecessor.

This is probably the best Splinter Cell made to date thanks to its excellent blend of stealth and action. Unlike Conviction, you are free to choose the stealthy route, the guns-blazing route, or a healthy mix of the two, and you are even rewarded with a "100% complete" for managing to complete each level without killing or alerting a single guard.

Highly recommended.

Anyone who hasn't played this game before should definitely do so now. The combat is fairly repetitive, but the story is phenomenal, the characters are endearing and the platforming is top-notch.
