I probably should've taken the mixed (42%) ratings as a bad sign, and not bought this, but i did anyway as the gameplay seemed a whole lot of fun, unfortunately, this game is fundamentally broken, in that 5/6 ground missions i play end in the game crashing right after i achieve victory... this wouldnt be quite so painful, if it wasnt for the fact i have to replay the entire ground mission again, and again, and again, until it finally decides to not crash, which was a 1 in every 6 games experience... keep in mind, some of these ground missions are on pretty large maps, and towards the end of a game, they can take quite some time to complete, in excess of 40min or so, and as the computer players like to constantly engage you in ground missions... it gets very very tedious.

Cant wait for steam to implement their refund system, as this game does not deliver a basic playable experience.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game, or the developer/publisher in any way, as this is the kind of fatal flaw that shouldve been ironed out pre release, not still be in the game months after it was released, if starcraft 2 had this kind of game breaking bug, everyone wouldve dropped it like a flaming bag full of dog poo.

learn a little leniancy and dont bring up dead converstations ^_^ a month and a half later and i can still defend my point.. the OP's post was a recommendation supported by the facts he has experienced, mine was my opinion about said facts not being as frequent depending on the situation, i did not say they were in the right in not fixing it, only that there may be more to it than them being a bad company ^_~

why does everyone always jump straight to the "they dont care line?"... maybe the crew working on this particular product is doing other things that are deemed more important, maybe it is a bug that came with an update and they didnt know how to fix it and started losing money on trying? maybe they got what they wanted out of it and moved on, maybe the bug is not constant, depending on the OS or some other programs interference? or maybe consumers like you just look for ways to tack a bad rep on a corporation who made a good game with some flaws.. you going to go and criticize console for allowing games with too harsh of graphics for their hardware, causing them to lag/overheat?

It doesn't matter that it's the only noteworthy bug......it is a bug that should not be present in a finished product that was supposedly tested before release. Therefore said product should not be sold until it is fixed. But it's been a year and the devs have shown they don't care about the consumers.

ive played roughly 10 battles, ive only experienced this crash once, however annoying this may be, i dont find it to be so gamebreakingly bad that it should be removed, after all, these dev teams do infact need money to progress and with there being only the one bug for such a great game (and yes this game is great in my opinion) then what would we be left with? a select few franchised games that had a good start? i say pay them money to inspire them to fix their game, and if the game is still broken years later then it is a lost cause

however never forget that new features or fixes may be the cause of other more severe issues at times, there could have been a patch that updated the game leaving it with this "gamebreaking" bug

is that not enough for a game breaking bug that the game constantly crashes??? This should not be sold on steam until they fixed it.

is this your only issue with the game? other than it crashing at the end of a victory sometimes leaving you to do a battle over, is there no other noteworthy bugs?
