This game is just neat - it can be a Sunday hack'n'slash passtime, and it can be a real grinder. I am happy I finally have a computer I can play T2 with ease, as I spend many hours with it's prequel and was quite hyped to play this one.
I love the multum of possibilities of seemingly narrow range of heroes, and I'm all about doing those hybrid characters.
Two things are a big minus to me: firstly, building a successful summoner class takes quite a lot of time in higher difficulty modes. Secondly, Act III monsters are just cheap (besides the epic boss fights) and take away much of the lore's momentum - so if you feel doubts in Act III, keep pushing until You reach those Dwarven ruins. Either way, I think it's very easy to ommit how wonderful of a universe Torchlight has, with it's little details that can slip your attention if you play too fast. It's a lore very prone to development and alteration, and I'm also happy to see some very lore-friendly mods.
