Very nice little adventure with lovely characters in a very simple art style that complements the setting and adds just the right amount of quirk. Very recommend.

As someone who has been playing since BEFORE the game went free-to-play, I wholeheartedly welcome the changes that the Definitive Edition brings. Worlds being "stuck" on Playful's servers was always a big minus of this game and so much new decorative content was behind the paywall that "free to play" introduced.
Being able to host our own worlds is a major upgrade that this game has been too long without.
I have enjoyed the game for many many years and this update should help ensure it remains playable for years to come.

Replayability is limited, as a lot of the dialog is identical when exploring the different paths, but I did very much enjoy the story and the "true" ending is especially adorable. Would recommend.

After reading the writeups for this game I had a lot of hopes for it. A simple back-story, vaguely familiar gameplay, and a quirky nature that should have made it a fun game.

Unfortunately, I was quite a fan of Katamari Damacy back in the day... and a few levels into the game I found myself just pining for the original. The movement in this game feels twitchy in comparison (Your pickup radius doesn't increase in size, for example) and doesn't have the same ambience as Katamari.

Overall, I think this game could be a great and fun introduction to a style of game that was unique but is unavailable on PC, but I can't recommend it to existing fans of the genre.

Portal 2 has all the fun puzzle-solving of the original with the added dimension of some brilliant multiplayer.
The ability to craft and share your own puzzle levels has also resulted in some fun non-canon levels being available to play with. If you liked the original, and have friends you like to game with, I can highly recommend Portal2.
