"A Pirate I was meant to be, trim the sails and roam the sea!"

FINALLY! One of my favorite games of all time and the game that got me obsessed with Point and Click Adventure games is now on Steam! I felt like crying when I just found out this came out on the store, it brought back many memories of 5 year old me playing on my old Windows 98 PC with my Dad. Needless to say this game is a huge part of me but besides my fanboying, these are the reasons why you should buy this game.

Pros:
+Appealing 90s Styled Animation
+Hilarious Dialogue and Pirate Banter
+Star Wars References (Thanks to LucasArts creating this game)
+Lengthy Playthrough (This game used to be on 2 Discs)
+If you're looking for a challenge, this game can be very puzzling. Also I advise to play the Mega Monkey mode after your first playthrough because they take the solutions to puzzles from the main mode, and completely change them to be even puzzling this time around.

Cons:
-Not exactly a Remaster but works fine with the SCUMMVM emulator the game runs off of.
-Save system is alittle weird for first time players (Press F1 to save/load)
-Sort of worse graphics than the actual CD version but that is to be expected.

Overall the game is very enjoyable and is worth the $7 price. If you want an unforgettable experience of a story, definately BUY THIS GAME. You won't regret it :)

(Plus 2 Fun Facts: The Pirates of the Carribean movie series was originally supposed to be a film adaptation of the Monkey Island series and also I found out about the amazing game that is Grim Fandango from this game, many years before the remastered version.)

An OK KO Lets Be Heroes Game Nearly Perfected

Upon getting this game an hour after release, I was very excited to try it out and from my couple hours of playing the game (I have not yet beaten the game at the time of this review) these are my positive and negative thoughts on the game that could help you buyers out if you're interested.

Why You Should Buy This Game:
  • It feels as if you're playing through an episode of the show (All of the humor, voice actors and plotlines inspired by the show are here)
  • Surprisingly Good Combat for a Cartoon Network Beatem-Up
  • I love how the POW cards work in this game (Sort of a relationship level system combined with Partner Assists from fighting games)
  • A reasonably lengthy game that rarely gets dull
  • Also a pretty sweet soundtrack
A Couple Of Rough Patches
  • While fights may be fun, the frequency of fights and repetitive motions in combat can make things dull at times
  • Missing out on Multiplayer in a Beatem-Up game (in my opinion a crucial and much sought out feature for the genre)
  • The art style is sort of a miss with most people, however I have gotten used to it and enjoy it

I myself have been a fan of the show for awhile and I honestly enjoy this game very much with a few mistakes here and there, however I hope my review has given you all a more clear perspective on whether or not to buy the game.

Lots of Fun for Cheap

I bought this game a couple of years ago and at first it seemed like a run of the mill indie game that I didn't pay much attention to, however when I decided to try it out I was very pleased. This game is nice combination of Apartment Management and Tower Defense. Heck sometimes I even get obsessed with breeding my tenants. Overall very underrated game and well worth your time playing! Plus it has an awesome soundtrack. :D

Short but Nice

Through getting this game in a Narrative bundle, I decided to try out this game Cibele. It was rather short, only taking about an hour to complete, however I appreciated the pictures and other lines of dialogue in it. This game was a nice take from what could be going through the mind of someone who is in love over an MMO. If you have the money, give this game a shot.

Added Info: You will be watching more of the game than actually playing it.

Absolutely Amazing

After 13 hours of playing this wonderful game, the Deponia series has finally come to a conclusion. It was so nice to see the characters that I have loved once again in all of their crazy adventures. I even like the few new characters they introduced, as well as learning about the past of Deponia and Elysium.

The plot line was very very confusing, and will probably rattle around in your head for quite a while due to this game involving time portals and paradoxes. Overall though, I believed this was an amazing last installment of Deponia and I will surely miss this series.

My thought on the ending (Read only if completed):
I just don't know, when I started this game I thought it would end the way I wanted it to be. That would be Rufus and Goal happily together wherever they shall be but alas Daedalic even on their best day cannot seem to make a fully happy ending. (I'm looking at you Anna's Quest and Edna and Harvey) What I could make out of the ending was that after Goal was dropped off by the Utopians, I assume she was taken to Paradox City where she lived out her days "with faint memories". While it was a better ending than Goodbye Deponia, just the sight of Goal being left alone by herself throughout time depresses me. But I guess this ending is the best we can get. I will miss you Deponia.

Must-Have For Board Game and Card Game Lovers

Just like others say, this is the boardgame equivlent of Garry's Mod. Whether you're playing alone or with others this is a game of endless fun. Even if you don't have friends to play with, just jump into a server room and play any of your favorite boardgames (I mean ANY). You could end up becoming friends with complete strangers.

If you have free time to spare, and you like playing tabletop games with friends and family, this game is right up your alley!

Another Wonderful Story by Daedalic

I was quick to buy this game after playing Daedalic's previous titles since their stories are both compelling and fun to experience. I bought this within the first week of its release and after playing, it holds up against other games made by the company.

The story was nice, with Anna remaining justiceful and calm in even the worst situations. The ending however (which I won't spoil) finished the story off nicely yet I couldn't help feel it was the best ending but after playing plenty of Daedalic games, im used to expecting sad endings so this is a nice step. Also an added bonus, this game is clean without cursing and violence. It's good enough for children to play unlike the company's other titles.

Dark Humor for everyone

I suggest playing Edna and Harvey: The Breakout first since this is the sequel to it, plus it make the story much more understandable.

This game is much darker than the first game and it doesn't shy away from sending chills up your spine. In this game you play as Lilli a nearly mute orphan trying to figure out what is the right way to act with so many people giving her orders.

Unlike the first game, the story is told through the narrator instead of the protagonist and they will always have something funny to say even in the darkest moments of the game.

So if you're a fan of point and click games, like a good story with humor and can stand some chilling scenes then I suggest getting this game!

Funny with a touch of Dark

While the art style may seem like it was drawn in Microsoft Paint, don't let it turn you away from this amazing point and click game. I must say though I have owned this game for awhile and it was sitting in my library until I decided to play it.

Man this game goes from 100 to 1000 real fast. About 90% of the game is hilarious, memorable comedy then turns to dark, and chilling scenes. It threw me off guard and I it surprised me that a game like this could end up being like that.

The game may be very fun however it is not worth the regular price, just wait for sales to come around (I got mine for $2).
