Inflatality is a local multiplayer, family fun, all around good time game with one goal in mind... ressurection of local co-op gaming. Sure, it may not have all the features of alot of modern games, but for everything that is missing you would expect of a standard fighting game, it makes up in fun factor. The game is straight up fun to play, and very simple to just pick up and play. The game is built with those things in mind, fun, simplicity, and accessability.

GRAPHICS

One of the first things you will notice when you start to play, is the game is bright and colorful. I really enjoyed the art style of this game, and it seems to have been designed to be able to play on even the most modest of hardware. You arent going to find any ultra HD super hi res graphics here, but this game does not need those features. The game still looks incredible, and runs well.

SOUND

The music and sound effects are pretty much what you would expect. Nothing too fancy, but yet not boring by any means. The music and sound effects fit the overall feel of the game well, and none of the music is overbearing to the point where youd rather hear something else.

GAMEPLAY

Here is where the meat and patatoes of this game lay. The controls are very simple, easy to pick up and play. You wont need weeks or months to learn a character on this game, and it isnt designed to be that way. The physics behind the game are pretty much exactly what you would expect, basically you flair around waving your arms and head and hit the other guy. There are combos and special moves, and the hit/hurt boxes are pretty much spot on what you would expect. YOu chose a character, chose a special move, and then fight your opponent to the death (or in this case deflation lol) To be honest, thats pretty much all there is too it. Keep in mind the game is designed to be played with a controller, and both my xbox 360, and xbox one controllers worked well out of the box. just plug it in and go, no configuration needed.

OVERALL

Overall, i will go on record as saying what time we spent playing this we had a blast. It really gave us a reason to play games together in the same room as opposed to online. Keep in mind this game is local multiplayer ONLY. there are no online features, and currently no single player content at all. The only way to play is you and friends. A tutorial mode would have been nice, but to be honest it really doesnt need it, the controls are ultra simple, and there arent a ton of special moves or combos to learn. Each character choses a special move at the beginning of the match and it is initiated with a button press once the meter fills up. Combos arent like your standard combos, and sometimes seem to happen almost at random, but when you see how the physics of the game work, you will understand why this is such.

REVIEW RATING

I will give this game a SOLID 8/10

Yeah they should take off the " Multiplayer " Tag if they already have " Local Multiplayer" noted. That is kind of misleading.

Not really, have you played it? it is insane amounts of fun. And it is only 2 player local multiplayer, so you have to play with friends. To be honest it could really use an online mode, but that isnt what they wanted to go for with this game.

How is a 1 vs 1 fighter a co-op game?

Okay I sincerely doubt their one goal in mine was the "ressurection of local co-op gaming" which isn't even remotely close to being dead in the first place.
Nice buzz words kid. Good cookie-cutter review.
