i actually stopped playing the steam client and have used the fj client for quite awhile now. so i have many, many, many more hours than represented here. definitely would be considered a vet in-game.

just to be clear...rc is not p2w. players who pay money, do not get an advantage in battle over someone who plays for free. rc is a rare breed in many aspects, this is just one of them.

so simply put, this is an awesome game. in a voxel environment, you build robots from scratch then battle other robots in your choice of play modes. you can also sell the bots you build to other players, in the store known as the crf.

recently updates have been released that massively improved the game. rc is still in alpha, so it does have issues. however, i believe the devs are making great progress in overcoming these hurdles and soon this amazingly addictive game will be bug-free. once stable and out of alpha, i predict rc to have profound impact on the gaming community. not only is it one of a kind...it's great fun too.

my advice to new players...
1 get premium (so worth it and really is one of the cheapest games out there)
2 using your robits (in-game currency) buy a fj bot from the crf
3 play some rounds in the bot
4 open the bot up in edit mode and look at how it was built (rc is all about connection points, damage is distributed through connecting cubes)
5 alter the bot to fix any weakness you've noticed or change the weapons up...play with it
6 lather
7 rinse
8 repeat

also now in the settings menu, there's options to display advanced info when building (center of mass, armor, shields, weight, etc) and this really helps when building. check out the info on your fj bot and use the cpu usage as a goal when you start building your own. one last thing....bloated goats float on boats :) clans are coming soon \o/
