Master Reboot is an abstract puzzle game with some horror elements. You are basically trapped inside someone's memories that have been stored in a computer while you attempt to escape from and destroy a virus. Gameplay consists of solving puzzles to explore the memories and some occasional simple combat. Most of the puzzles are straightforward which is a nice change of pace from some other games I've played recently.

While the game doesn't start well with a rather poor introduction/tutorial level, it gets a lot more interesting later. You make your way through memories of someone's life, slowly learning about their life as you progress. Along the way you will find collectibles that give you more information about this person's life related to the memory they are found in.

Graphically, the game is nothing special. It uses a low detail art style with a dark horror-like atmosphere to emphasize the fact that you are inside someone's memories inhabited by a virus. It works well, though the way colors are handled leads to some nasty color banding and really poor contrast in places.

Overall I definitely enjoyed Master Reboot. It's a unique experience unlike any other game I've played.
