Early Access Review
UPDATE for 2019: - So I hadn't played this game in a while and I come back to find its even more polished. the AI is really good now and the game feels tighter and the controls more responsive. I really love this game and the Dev's are clearly listening to the feedback and making a game for driving fans. Well done, keep up the good work.

UPDATED REVIEW - following more extensive gameplay.

So i really like this game, it gets a lot better as you progress and get a better car, upgrade it and some of the later tracks are much better than the earlier ones. This is a great top down simulator at a very reasonable price. If you want a top down racer that is more serious than the average arcade game then I've NEVER seen a better game than this one. Devs are active and care about customers. This is a solid BUY for me, I did and certainly don't regret it.

Pro's:
+ I like the handling model - everything else is secondary except for the AI
+ AI is pretty good taking different lines with the top driver quite a challenge in single player - so far so good. handling model & AI = fun game. Be nice to get them a bit closer together to give tighter racing.
+ Controller support - analogue input makes this game, don't use keys, get a controller! (well done devs!)
+ Nice and simple upgrades with new cars just far enough out of reach to make them worth the effort
+ Music is good
+ Devs are currently active (as of June 2017) and very responsive to feedback.

Con's:
+ the graphics are a little dated and the tracks a little sparse but they do the job
+ Menu's are still in early phase and could use modernising but hey, its the driving that counts
+ Handling can take a bit of getting used to for beginners or those expecting a basic 'arcade' game. Its a simulation so it shouldnt be a walk in the park. Keep trying, it does make sense as you get used to them.
+ Perhaps show the controls at the beginning of the first game, took me 3 races to realise there was a Nitro button (left shift or mapped to controller button)
+ AI can get a bit spread out as the skills are hugely different.
