Game: This is one of my favorite Build engine games of all time! You go around as a redneck while listening to bad ass music, cracking one liners, and shooting ♥♥♥♥! What more could you want in a Build game?

Steam version: Oh my god, this is a utterly ♥♥♥♥ release. First, Redneck Rides Again is completely left out, it is using an outdated DOSBox, it runs with a command line in the background, the option to launch Suckin' Grits on Route 66 is completely left out and you have to make a shortcut your self, and the biggest part...

NO MUSIC!

Yeah, the amazing soundtrack in this game is left out completely! It can't have been a copyright issue as it's included in the GOG version, which is ultimately superior to this version, and the bin/cue files aren't there at all! So it is basically impossible to get music unless you illegally download another version of the game.

So, in the end, DON'T BUY THIS VERSION OF THE GAME! Buy the GOG version, as it includes both the addons, the latest version of DOSBox, and the soundtrack of course!

I use to play this back in the late 90's when I was stationed at Little Rock AFB on a Pentium . Good times

With the patch in the guides section. It adds back in the music and all the addons. including rides again. Hope that helps

i cant get it from gog because i need to verify my account which i made and outlook keeps telling me to fix my account but it doesnt work so i cant receive any e-mails so that makes the gog version unable to get

@CSX I don't see Rides Again in the game files, or an option to load it. So it's still missing that addon isn't it?

the game just was updated, it's the same as the GOG version now

THANK YOU SO MUCH! so glad i read this before purchasing myself... such poor treatment to such a nostalgic piece of art. How Steam allow those kind of mess to go through... just so sad
