No! Just no! I mean... what the hell?! Valve, seriously?
A modification for Half-Life just got Greenlighted... but why?!
This mod exists just of two small maps that you can finish in around 15 Minutes.
No new weapons, no new enemies. Nothing new at all.
Just a little, stoopid, sensless & weird boss that has even it's own map (Remember: This mod has only 2 maps + credits),
but which is just a room of around 64 m² size. Seriously?
A lot of awesome games that don't get through Steam Greenlight but THIS mod gets through?!

The only positive thing to say about this is maybe the soundtrack. They're okay. But that's all.
Oh... and did I mention all the typos in the few dialogs and texts?
Great! 10/10. Would play again. Because why not?

From the creators of 'Zombie Panic: Source!', the #1 played Half-Life 2 mod, comes now their new and standalone title: Contagion!
Contagion is a cooperative survival horror firstperson-shooter in which up to eight players fight together against zombies (or against survivors) in order to survive and/or complete their objectives. There are multiple gamemodes where you have to team up with other players, like 'Escape' and 'Extraction' or where you have to kill them (PvP mode aka 'Hunted').
There are many weapons scattered around the map - including melee weapons like a knife, an axe or even a sledgehammer up to fire weapons like pistols, shotguns and rifles. There are even some tools like a nailgun - to barricade yourself - , a fire extinguisher and even a mobile to use. This mobile acts like a questlog and gives you all the information you need to complete your objectives.
The zombies themself are normal infected, so there are no special infected ones like in Dead Island or Left 4 Dead. These zombies are normally slow but there are even some running ones so you have to always watch out. However, you aren't only playing as a survivor. As soon as you die you'll respawn as a zombie with one simple goal: Kill all survivors and win.
This game is really fun - especially online - and requires teamwork, which makes the game quite challenging. If you are a fan of zombie shooters and teamwork games, where you can even play as a zombie yourself, than this is your game!

What to say about that game? Is it it's time worth? Something that you should play?

Well, let's say that: It's been a long time since I played such a great game!

It's basically a 2D game in an awesome drawn graphic style that combines many game features together like a combat system, for hack'n'slash fun experience, a crafting system to collect materials and craft them together into better gear, inclusive your own inventory to store all these gears, materials and quest items.
And yes, I said quest items. There are missions you can accept and complete, optional ones and your main-story missions. The story is great and the dialogues are just amazing, especially the funny ones, which you'll meet often.
There's even a leveling system. Kill enemies, complete missions, find secrets and do other stuff to gain experience to level up and use your level points to spend on your character to get even more powerful. I also mentioned secrets... there are many of these hidden in the world and you will only be able to find some of these later in the game because there are a few helpful unlocks awaiting for you. Of course there's a map and you can travel to every level whenever you want like for example the city to accept or deliver quests or whatever you want to do there. ;)
The enemies are often tough and the combat system isn't bad with all the skills and parrying stuff you can use. The music is beautiful and the animations are perfect, no wonder since the creator of the game is an animator.
There's a lot more to explain and to find but... why don't you just experience all these things for yourself? There is a lot to find in the world of... Dust: An Elysian Tail!

I mean, seriously... look at all these awards and review points. This game is a masterpiece of it's genre and just recommendable!

Oh, did I mention that this game was mostly done by only ONE person? In a four-year development.

You should try this mod, which, in fact I can say, is one of the best Half-Life 2 Campaigns ever made. It's not very big but it's really well done. The Maker of this campaign even got the attention of Valve and they hired the maker. As a Valve employee he decided to release his awesome mod on Steam... and here it is now. :)
I played this mod once a long time ago and I would play it again! For every Half-Life lover, this is a must-play! ;)

No, seriously... this game is awesome. The first time you play the game you will think "What the ♥♥♥♥ is this?" and you probably won't understand anything within the first seconds. But the objective is simple: Dodge all walls. Easy, huh? Not really. You won't even survive your first 5-10 seconds the first time you play... on the easiest level. So you keep trying playing this game because you want to beat it. You play more and more and more and that's like a drug: You don't want to stop, so this game basically is addictive. After some time you will beat the level (You need 60 seconds on a level to beat it). And there are of course five more levels to beat and this makes it really fun. Every level gets harder and harder and you get better and better. So it's a great game from time to time.
It's not expensive, so you should give it a try. ;)

I personally own the game for mobile and PC. Come, let's see if you can beat my records. >:D

This game is one of the best adventure games I have ever played!
It's an old game in retro style, which just got updated with High Definition graphic, that's why it's called 'Cave Story+'. (The original Cave Story isn't available on Steam btw)
Cave Story is a great 2D game, where you play a robot named 'Quote', who just lost his memories and gets to know what happened the farther you play the game.
So, where to start?
First off, the Story is quite nice... not the best but it's nice. I don't want to spoil to much but as mentioned, you wake up somewhere and you don't know how you landed there nor what your past is. You have to fight your way through the levels to find out who you are and what you actually did. To reach your goal you'll have to use many different weapons... There's a big arsenal of weapons, but not all of these are obtainable in one single playthrough. The different enemies differ from each other so there's always another strategy how to beat them, the same applies to bosses. The levels are awesome made and the retro graphic style makes this game in it's look beautiful.

And if this game was too easy for you, there are a lot of items you can collect and many challenges to complete. In case you aim for all achievements, you'll have to beat this game multiple times because - as mentioned before - you can't get all items in one single playthrough.

Anyone who has never played it yet, has something missed in his life. This game is just awesome!
You won't regret your buy and you'll love this game!

The absolutly most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up game I have ever played in my life. This game just sucks. You better stay with Alien Swarm if you're looking for such a genre title. It's much better and it's FREE! Oh, and the other parts of the series suck, too. DON'T BUY IT!!! IT'S A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WASTE OF MONEY! Why? This game is boring as hell and the gameplay is bad. Also the multiplayer isn't that great.

Alien Swarm? Or Alien Breed? I got both and I have to say, that Alien Swarm is MUCH better then Alien Breed. Alien Breed is really boring, bugged and is no fun. Alien Swarm is different. It's an awesome game where you can play with your friends up to 4 players instand of two. There is currently only one campaign, which got only 7 maps (Could change with time). However... it's an awesome game which is fun. Every map got other objectives and you can change the difficult and settings before you start a map. It's very fun in coop but the only problem is, that there is only one campaign. Valve wants to add DLCs with more campaigns. But like in every other source game you can install and play custom maps or campaigns. You can also level up and unlock new prestiges and new weapons! There are lots of enemy-types and even a (secret Badass) Boss!

The game is MUCH better than Alien Breed PLUS it's free! You should test this great game to see yourself how great this game is.

Oh... and don't buy Alien Breed. It sucks.

Well... this game is just : EPIC!
Why should YOU buy it? Because this game is awesome!
What you can do:
You can go mine ores like copper, iron, silver and gold and much more ores! You can go and hunt some dungeons or search some secret areas. You can build your own House... or why not a city?! This game got everything what you need. You love Minecraft? Then you will love this game, too! You can play it with friends, you can build your own cities and live in them. Npc's like Merchants and Healer will move into the city. They will sell you things like new Weapons,Ammo and Heal! You can find some awesome weapons or craft them. Ever heard of a Lasersword in Star Wars? Get it in this game! Ever heard of a laser pistol? Get it in this game! Ever heard of a Grapple Hook? Get it in this game also ,too! It's almost like a copy of Minecraft, just in 2D! And Minecraft is fun as hell, why shouldn't make this game fun, too?

So: BUY IT!

Es ist ein ziemlich gutes Jump'n'Run Spiel. Es ist einfach, meiner Meinung nach, einer der besten Jump'n'Run Spiele, welches ich kenne und einfach nur zu empfehlen. Es macht unheimlich viel Spaß und bietet eine große Herausforderung an alle Hardcore-Spieler. Aber VORSICHT! Dieses Spiel ist extrem schwierig und nicht gerade zu empfehlen für Jump'n'Run Neulinge. Rage-Gefahr vorhanden. ;)
