Hi, i've downloaded Blade Symphony for the 3rd time, and it crashes when i try to launch it. Any help pls !

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and variety can't be used in same sentence, it's basically one of the simpliest thing to code that 99% of games filled with. Usually variety starts when it's anything but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Besides, I can't really see how a game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ can be competitive along side with projectile weapons, unless long ranged no-spread ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serve as support element rather than combat weapons.

I suppose it's just to have some variety, to make it somewhat new player friendly.

I was actually talking about the whole of HL2\Source games\mods, but yes dystopia suffer from such cancer too. Why can't we have projectile based fire arm weapons that are actually possibly to dodge? The hitscan would work well and make sense only on lightning weapons, since these are as fast as light speed.

I'm assuming that you are referring to Dystopia? It was made in 2005.

Hey dude, I really enjoyed Blade Symphony since it came out way back. But I realised that there wasn't split-screen in it(Like every other Source game that isn't L4D). I made a script to have pseudo split-screen by launching two or more instances of the game and connecting them to the first player and using controllers. But on Blade Symphony, I seem to get STEAM Validation Rejected even with -insecure and sv_lan 0. I added you thinking I could PM you then but apparently that's not how it works. Hope you can reply. Personally, I think a fighting game like this would be great in horizontal split-screen tbh.

Maybe you've read this many times, but what about the "0% Achievement Padawan" thing? Will the achievement get a fix (achievable) someday? I'd love to help around things.

I don't mind being added, as long as the person adding does not do it expecting me to trade with them. Unless of course we have arranged to trade prior to it.

Thanks! Blade Symphony does push the engine to it's technical limits. Maintenance hasn't stopped, we just won't update as regularly due to working on other projects.

AVG is giving it a false positive. Add the Blade Symphony exe file to it's exclusion list and it should solve it.

Like mentioned before, note the license. The person in question never asked permission to redistribute the model and therefore is not allowed to have put the model to the workshop. If he just posted in the submission or pm'd me asking permission I wouldn't see any problems with it however as he did not I do now.

The fact that the shaders are also completely incorrect for the source engine without any edits whatsoever makes it even more annoying for me. I'm probably going to revisited the sword myself in the future and correctly this time.

I've also posted on the submission quite some time ago so that the author could remove it himself, however this wasn't done therefore resulting in the flag which is obviously justified here as he never contacted me to use/redistribute it in the first place.

The thread itself no longer exists. Normally when a thread is deleted a moderator can still see it, but it's hidden from everyone else. In this case there is no trace of it at all, the global mod used the admin tool to either remove it, or it's probably more likely he moved it to somewhere we can't access.

One of them did mention a private forum, that our thread wasn't being received very well in their. So I imagine it may now be there.
