I looked long and hard

a slightly incompetent sys-admin

it became plain to see
you had set up a clever trap!

In a VM you had ensnared me,
waiting for that low-life

to come and peek at your data
and /bin with setuid highlight

But avast, I have taken the blue pill,
and now own your entire cluster

of high-power FreeBSD boxes,
still running telnet servers.

Now that user 'theo', the one I created
you haven't noticed him for months

Somehow a part of @wheel,
holding su-powered gauntlets.

I leave this for you,
my well-meaning friend:

Secure your damn boxes,
and don't use unboxed XEN!

This game is so great it'll rip your socks off and eat them, then spit out clean laundry. not really, but it IS fun and full of silly throwbacks (Zed-Ex, anyone?)

This game is hard. How hard, you ask? Hard enough you will kill your family and scream at the top of your lungs that there has to be a better way to go insane.

But its fun.

Quake is arguably the father of every FPS series in some form or another. One of the most fundamental game mechanics, basic puzzle solving, is used to one of the best ends in a classic 3D FPS. If you haven't played it in some form, you're missing out on a bit of historical fun.
