I have to say, I'm liking this game more than I thought I would. At first I was with everyone else, I hate bullet sponge shooters and it seemed like they were taking everything that made MNC fun out of it. Turns out I didn't really know what made MNC fun. The combat was average and shit like assassin and sniper instakills made it way more frustrating, moreso than in TF2 for some reason. Instead they added a more deep MOBA style system that is actually way better than I imagined it would be. The matches all have an interesting flow and by the end of them you're killing people pretty much just as fast as you do in TF2. There's a lot more depth to the overall game than in the original MNC, with bots meaning more and a jungle area in each level. The maps are bigger and more well designed, I feel. The classes seem to have the perfect balance of skill involvement, allowing a player really good shooters to do well but not excel unless they know the metagame strategies, and vise versa.

Still better than Civilization V. If you play any Civ game, make it this. It will go down as a true classic, the best 4x game ever made.

Beautiful and incredibly fun. Ostensibly the same game as Anno 1404/Dawn of Discovery, but better in almost every way. It's both overwhelmingly complex and easily approachable. Lose countless hours of your life as you set up just one more production chain. Best PC exclusive game of the last few years.
