Overall amazing storyline coupled with engaging gameplay that doesn't overstay its welcome

Outside of the graphics updates, the game is 3 steps forward and 1 step back.

Players will love the modernized gameplay (the old game had a couple frustratingly hard scenarios), but we lost a bit of the free roam the original game had.

The story is overall better than the original, but you'll notice a couple plot holes that the original game never had.
Spoiler warning

- The original explained that Tommy joined the mafia because his taxi employers wouldn't want to retain an employee that helped the mob
- This game just made it look like Tommy joined for the hell of it

- The reason Tommy went to the cops in the end:
- The original showed Tommy went to the cops because Frank Colletti was eventually found and executed despite vanishing (Tommy didn't make a reference to this in the remake)
- The remake implied Tommy had no money left and he couldn't even buy coffee for the detective (I could hardly believe he would have 0 in savings)

Not all the plot changes are bad
The ending speech about family and how Tommy accepted his death is 10 times better than the original speech about someone wanting too much from the world

Audiosurf 1 is better and cheaper. The only thing you get is an upgraded visualizer.
Mono got gutted in this remake of it. I hate how hitting Greys is how you get the optimal score now...
I prefer mindlessly hitting every colour'd block because it was supposed to be simple.

Forgot to add, I hate how the track gets randomized every time you play. It means you can't get a "perfect score" for a song.
