While certainly not for those who like more casual platformers or those looking for a quick game to play (it IS a time sink, make no mistake), Super Meat Boy is nonetheless a highly enjoyable, if incredibly difficult game.

Personally, I find it helps to accept the fact that you are going to die thousands of times in the course of playing SMB. It turns what would normally be considerable frustration into limitless amusement, which coupled with the game's dark humour and endless Shout Outs to other works, gives the game a nice comedic feel without feeling too forced.
