Cards not dropping? [FIXED AGAIN]

Im about 6hours in Super Meat Boy and im still missing 1 card out of 3 been going on for about 4 hours since last drop... help?

Something seems to be wrong with the card drop system for some people. There's a few other threads about this in the group forums, and I personally am stuck at 2/4 cards from serious sam. I've been playing for a few hours without getting the rest of my drops aswell, so hopefully Valve is working on fixing this. (And hopefully they're not operating on valve time)

Getting the same problem, haven't recieved cards over several hours of play in FTL, CS:Go, and Borderlands 2. Got 2 BL2 cards in the first hour or so, and since then have played multiple hours and no drops

Also can't get the Steam Community badge to update. Trading and reading guides in IGB do not update the badge.

I've been messing around with Cubemen 2 a bit today, and have yet to have a card drop from it.

Yep, I'm having the problem here as well - I played Psychonauts today for a couple of hours, and my cards are stuck at the 3 out of 5 that I already had yesterday. I also went into Project Greenlight to look at some things, since the Community badge mentioned it, and it failed to register my voting.

It looks like the system is frozen somehow.

I've been having the same issue all day. I think card drops are going to be out of commission for the time being, sadly. More importantly, who isn't getting the issue, and why?

I dunno about the rest of you folks, but I got better luck with card drops in SMB by starting the game and leaving it on the menu screen, then tabbing out and doing other stuff. my last 2 card drops took just under 2 hours. I also quit the game and restarted after I noticed the first drop (took about 45 minutes of sitting on the menu screen for the first one to pop up, next one took almost another hour of waiting).

Yeah I have the same exact issue, except on all of my remaining games, no card drops at all on all the ones I am missing. :(
