May I ask how many cards we can get PER DAY?

Yesterday I played CS:GO and TF2 during day time, and I have got some cards. But last night I played the same games and got nothing.

I mean, is there an upper limit of the cards we can get per day? I cannot find the answer in FAQ.

One more question. In the FAQ, it says "For example, Half-Life 2 has 8 cards in its set, you can receive 4 card drops by playing it. "

In the above exmple, I want to know whether the 4 cards that we can receive refers to the quantity of different cards( I mean 4 kinds of cards ), or the quantity of total cards we can receive( including several same cards ).

It's the total amount of cards you can receive, including duplicates. And there is no daily limit, seeing you can get all cards in a few hours.

You have a one time Carddroplimit. If you used it up you're done and need to get Cards through the Market or simple Trading.

You don't need to play the games to get cards, you get them by just being logged into them and idling for a certain time period.

You get 4 cards total which can be all the same card. Every game only gives you half the NUMBER of cards needed for that games badge. (DLC, game of the year, special edition or not)

We don't get any card resets.

To get a full set of cards you trade items, cards or games with other players. Obviously that means you need items, cards or games they want in exchange for that.

Well, that's a pity as we can't easily collect cards by playing games.

Yes, until you have no more drops, then you need to pray to get boosters or buy / trade the rest of the cards you need.

As long as you keep spending money on TF2 (or other F2P game), you'll keep getting cards. Although, at $9 per drop it is not a cost efficient way to get cards.
