After another heavy loss the Saints could be in the market to make bulk changes. David Armitage will return if fit whilst Tom Lee, Beau Maister and Josh Saunders impressed for Sandringham. Whilst Port will be sweating on the fitness of Matt White, Travis Boak, Angus Monfries, Chad Wingard, Dom Cassisi and Tom Jonas who all have concerns. Hamish Hartlett will return from suspension and Paul Stewart, Cam O’Shea, Ben Newton and Tom Logan are all pressing their case in the two’s.

Other than Sydney, Port is the in-form team of the competition. They weren’t impressive but they showed their fighting qualities against the Demons last week for their seventh consecutive win to keep them two games clear on top of the ladder. The Saints are the opposite, having lost seven of their past eight games including five in a row. They haven’t got within five goals since Anzac Day – sitting 16th on the ladder.

The Saints nearly pulled off an upset in round 17 last year. Down by 13-points at three-quarter time experienced duo Leigh Montagna and Nick Dal Santo willed them back into the contest. They kicked four goals to three in the final term to lose by just five points.
