Virtualization?
So one of your users virtualizes all his games using QEMU. I really wanna leave Windows behind and just play all my games on Linux, however the QEMU guide mainly uses CLI and I am not very familiar with CLI on linux. Can anyone help?

Probably the best GUI at the moment for QEMU and KVM is Gnome Boxes. Check it out:

Thanks to both of you. However, I am running KDE, not GNOME, so I don't know if I can use the latter suggestion, but I'll look into both.

Feel free to hop on IRC and chat about this if you'd like. Virtualization for games sounds pretty fun!

Currently you need a really recent video card or a second video card and a monitor switch for truly good virtualization. (There was a recently added extension that lets you create multiple virtual GPUs out of a single one. If not you can use QXL PCI-E driver to map the second card directly to your VM. These are the only two ways to get near zero loss in VM.)

Otherwise I recommend wine.

Aoi Blue, I assume you're talking about virgl3d? If you're talking about something else I'd love to know about it.

Consider if one requires virtualization in the first place.

I would generally recommend Wine over virtualization, especially if all one is doing is playing games. Depending on the specific games one plays, virtualization may well be a completely unnecessary step, and may even offer less performance.

Hello I only play on steam, playonlinux and wine sometimes with problems, I think its better than virtualization on my low pc

If wine works, I recommend it over virtualization.

I only recommend virtualization when Wine doesn't work, and only if you have a setup that can support it with minimal performance impact. That basically means a dedicated second graphics card for the VM or a graphics card with the new VM extensions.
