My reviews are a suggestion to consider. I write simple, honest reviews for games that I enjoyed playing and want to recommend to others. I try to briefly explain what kind of game it is, why I enjoyed it, and why others may enjoy it. I also strive to point out any significant flaws I believe others should be aware of. The goal is to create an informative-yet-concise review that will help others decide if they want to try a game.

I only recommend games. That is to say: I only bother writing positive reviews for games that I enjoyed and want to recommend to others to consider trying.

I write the reviews honestly, and I try to explain why I enjoyed the game and why I think others might enjoy it. I try to warn of legitimate caveats, but I do not like to propagate any excessive negativity. If I don’t like a game, I don’t bother writing about it; I would rather just move on with my life. While I understand negative reviews are important, I don’t like to write them. There are plenty of other people out there who will write them.

My game recommendations are a suggestion to consider. I do not allow myself to be influenced by any hive-mind thinking and always form my own opinion. I am a positive person and am easily amused, so I go into every game with the intention of trying to enjoy it. Hence, there are occasions where I may like a game which a marginal amount of other people does not. When this is the case, I always suggest that any prospective purchasers ensure they take a full assessment of the situation before making a decision. If my opinion differs from yours, please don't take it a personal insult or challenge.

To be clear: I enjoy writing reviews, and that is why I do it. I have no integrity-compromising ulterior motives, and none of my reviews are “bought.”
