Beware Phishing Attempts!

Earlier this morning, I received this message from one of our members:

10:39 AM - [redacted]: I got a chat request through the TF2X steam group
10:39 AM - [redacted]: and here's the log
10:39 AM - [redacted]: Never tell your password to anyone.
z_the_killer_o: Want free steam games?
http://christmastime.3a2.com"

The link in question goes to a phishing site. NEVER give your password to anyone! And if a site looks like Steam, double check before you do anything.

Please, ladies, if you receive a message like this, let one of the group admins know about it. I know we don't do much through the Steam group, but I still want to keep it as safe a place as possible. To that end, I have removed the user who sent the phishing link. And I will remove other members if necessary.

TF2X Mumble

Hello ladies! And gentlemen, if any have joined this group.

Thanks to the generosity of our member ElenaMorning, we have a TF2X Mumble server. I know there have been a few posts about this recently in our sub, most notably by LordKronos.

I apologize for any confusion about this.

There is a TF2X channel in there. It's usually rather empty, but we definitely have people who join it on occasion. I tend to check several times a day and hop in if I see people.
