The Rules

1. No negativity towards anyone. (Trolling, racism, etc.)
2. Don't ask to become mod/admin.
3. Don't self promote. Self promotion is advertisement of your own music/trades/art/games/etc.
4. Don't spam. You know what constitutes as spam.
5. Keep it a family environment - no NSFW posts allowed.
6. Don't post suspicious links. For images use gyazo, puush, or imgur.
7. Roleplaying is not allowed.
8. Don't make up fictional stories.
9. No leaks to forthcoming Monstercat music, streams, and/or artwork.
10. No filesharing/download links to Monstercat music. Support the artists! If it is/was a free release, DM me about it.
12. Do not impersonate Monstercat artists, staff, officials, or other administrators. Misleading profiles will be banned from the group.
13. Submissions are not limited to Monstercat music or news. This is a Steam group for the Monstercat community - gaming is encouraged!
14. If you think someone is scamming or phishing, notify an admin or post a discussion WITH A SCREENSHOT OF THE CHAT LOG. If there is no proof, nothing will be done. If the member is not a group member OR cannot be spotted on the list, do not click any links they send, block the user, and report them.
15. No trading codes for music/Monstercat Gold for IRL money.

Any post containing gambling related to Steam games will be deleted and the poster will be permanently banned without warning by group admins or Steam Community admins.

If you feel you were wrongly banned, please post on our (Smuglord, Sir Tech, Cheesey, or DaJeroen) profiles describing the situation.

"not limited to" means that it includes more than just the featured forms of rule breaking. Like in Rule 9, self-promotion includes art, games, groups, websites, and some other stuff alongside music. Just because it's not listed, doesn't mean it's allowed.
