GUIDE: Finding your Insurgency Game ID

This post is for those who are having difficulties linking their Game ID to their ESL Profile.

Enabling Console:

You must have console enabled to find your Game ID. To do so, simply change the setting for "Console" in options from Disabled to Enabled. Restart game if necessary.

Finding your Game ID:

To find your Insurgency Game ID, first enter a server on Insurgency, or begin your own training session. To start your own Training session, on the main menu click "Training" followed by "Begin Practice vs. AI". Once in a server open console by pressing the Tilda key (~) and enter the command "status". You will then see a list of Game IDs for everyone in-game. Search for yours and copy.

Example: # 18 1 "Lobo | ESL Insurgency" STEAM_1:0:62813464 00:34 15 0 active 80000

Copy the code after STEAM_ (1:0:62813464 in this case).
If your code begins with a 0 for the first number, replace the 0 with a 1.
(FROM "0:0:62813464" TO "1:0:62813464")

Linking your ESL Profile:

On the ESL website, go to your ESL Profile page. Look for "GameAccounts" on the left and click, then click the blue button "Add GameAccount". In the "Type" dropbox, search for and select "SteamID Insurgency". Paste your Game ID code into the "Value" box next to the "Type" Dropbox. Lastly click "Send", and your profile is now linked!

If you receive any errors while attemepting to link your profile, refresh the page and try again. If the error persists contact an admin or open a support ticket.
