Total War: WARHAMMER Based on the fantasy tabletop game Q/A
Ok so you want to know what going on with the new Total War: WARHAMMER game?

The team from Creative Assembly {Joey CA the Community Coordinator, Marketing department for Total War: WARHAMMER} have kindly agreed to answer your questions.

Diplomacy between certain races in warhammer barely happens. Will alliances between certain factions be prohibited because of this?
1- will vamrires gain bonus when fihting at night and penalties when fighting at day ?
2- will in general be pena;tis and bonuses to battles, army marches depending on the season, daytime and other parameters ?
3- will special events occur so the story will correspond with tabletop events and heroes there ?
4- will there be special movement ways such as army teleport on the world map depending on hero ? And in general will heroes who lead armies cause certain effects on world map ? this could be a new element to add if its not added, for example a Nurgle champion who leads an rmy could cause disease on the world map at each province he enters even id there is no battle fought there.
5- will landscape affect the unit's speed ? for example at a dessert will non-desert oriented units move slower or at a mountain will the units that descent have for example movement speed bonuses and charge bonuses and the units that ascend have movement penalties and attack penalties ?
6- will there be an 8 multiplayer campaign ?

this is a great idea, so i set up the question like that: Will there be penalties for making certain aliances ? for example if an imperial faction allied with chaos will it become excommunicated at start, then if it kept the alliance corrupted ?
how can a faction treat an ally ? will there be many unique ways to treat your allies depending on each faction ?

Will the amazing Scott Mcneil, man behind Sindri, Bale and other charactors, be doing any of the voice acting?
Can you force a religion onto different factions or your own cities, like in sid meirs civ 5?
Will each faction have a different religion?
Will there be an option of which chaos god you force your population to worship?
Will Sindri be in it? :3

Will battles play out like any DOW game or more like your other total war games?
Will you be handing out steam keys for reviews?
Will there be daemons in the game?
Will you be creating expansion packs for the game or will the original copy contain everything?
Will there be player created mods?

I'm a huge fan of the Total War series and I really want to know how the different factions will work on the campaign map -- will all of the races be run in the same way?

I feel like the awkward Native American factions in the Medieval II: TW expansion represent the kind of balance / mechanics problem that the WH setting could work around in exciting new ways; e.g. do Greenskins even use towns? are they capable of cultural/religious conversion? how do you implement a team like Chaos whose powers are derived mostly from off-map connections?

There are no depths to which I will not sink gladly to acquire WH:TW when it comes out, I only hope it's the kind of revolutionary addition TW needs and WH deserves!

Will there be any map expanding dlc apart from faction dlc ?

1. Which chaos gods will be featured. Based on the teaser Nurgle, how about the others?
2. Will chaos corruption leave a lasting effect on the landscape of the captured provinces (decay, for example)?
3. Will use and research of arcane arts increase the chance of chaos corruption?
4. Flying cavalry? We've seen a griffon in the teaser.
5. Will there be "historic" battles, as in previous TW games?
6. Naval combat?
7. Dwarf holds and the Under-empire: will it feature only surface structures?
8. Will standalone expansions integrate with the first game similarly as FotS did with Shogun2 (with cross game multiplayer)?
9. Customizable look of your units/generals?
10. Story based campaign (possibly in cooperation with Black Library authors) or will the game feature a more traditional TW sandbox campaign?
11. Realtime battles art style: will it be more like TW games (realistic looking with proper distances), or more like tabletop (more like playing with actual figurines, possible tilt-shift graphical effects, etc...)?
Will there be an attachment option ? Meaning will players be able to recruit champions and attach them to a unit squad apart from generals for example an option added to unit like the way you can upgrade weapons and armor in rome 2 ? I am not talking about agent champions but in squad champions that will fight with the squad. Also adding to this will players be able to upgrade their squads with banners and musicians as well ? And if yes, when one of these upgraded members dies in battle i suggest the player should have to repurchase him again.
