@Gnomeknows: thanks for the feedback. Can I ask you in what difficulty do you play? If it's too low, of course you don't really need strategy in the defense building, but as the gameplay is very different than usual games, I had to set low difficulty level - as they are already very hard for most players, before they master the game
Same for the bridge, with more "beautiful" building you can do much wider bridges (cf. the Bridge Building achievement !) but it's already a big challenge for most players. I had to decide for a size that is challenging but not too difficult for most players

also add params like maximum health in brutal, normal and ect. and breathtime param ;p

also the bridging the chasm part of the progression is super messy, there is no good way to make a bridge that big. I literally just spammed blocks and did not try to do anything really constructive because u didn't need to, a giant mess of blocks works fine :(

@Gaddy games Hi, I'm enjoying your game so far, but it is starting to feel very linear in the way I progress. I have to do exactly something, usually involving moving my entire base so I don't risk dying at night on the other side of the map. Was hoping for a more open experience, especially since you trimmed away things like hunger. I also second what someone said below. My base is literally just a small tunnel packed with turrets and auto-repairs, that's it...so I don't even really feel any reward for going after the linear progression.

Add a Submarine that you operate with a friend or friends to go even deeper underwater....

@jeremymundel31889: for a longer gameplay, best will be to play the future v1.0 alternative game modes : save items & materials, but a completely different world layout (one mode being much more random)
About pipes items it's a bit too complicated technically, so not a priority. But whatever I do, i'll never to a close perpertual engine, it against all the laws of physic, so I really don't want it in the game
About more tiers, I understand your point of view but for other player it would become too tedious, too long
I could add a lot of furnitures (although i would have to hire again an artist to draw them), but those are not in the spirit of the game - only useful items. Terraria & starbound are far better for this kind of "nice house" building ^^ I didn't want to give the same experience, but something very different

Last one - And anything you can think of to make a bigger base viable. Right now the only things i need in a base is a chasm for turrets as a kill zone, and a 2x2 box for the auto-builder. maybe a light. maybe a door. Furniture would be a great thing for late game to use up those lower tier materials building up in our inventories! Maybe we are trying to survive and get off the planet, but we can be comfortable doing it! Also, eventually, more biomes and more horizontal world to explore would be nice, maybe take a note from starbound and make it loop around like a planet? (invisible walls bum me out man)

Also more tiers of auto-crafter! A couple of the upgrades seemed like you unlock an awful lot for one upgrade, so maybe balance those upgrades a little? and moar monsters! we always want moar monsters, even if they have similar drops, Variety = boss!

what i would like to see is the gameplay being longer but not more tedious, If you could find a way to make it a longer quest between bosses, or maybe even more bosses. Also maybe easier hydro power systems? I would LOVE to see a pipe item that would transport water anywhere, so you could theoretically make a tank that pumped out and refilled its self continually to generate unlimited power(but balance it so you cant have like 15 generators and 1 tube
