There's no point, I don't think they even plan to fix anything. They're the new Town of Salem devs, they have enough people still playing, and enough money, so why fix it? I wish somebody told me this before I bought it.

How long is a single season?

Mrx, I know this is a little bit later but you don't risk immediate demotion as you start in the new rank on Division 2 So you can afford to lose a couple of games

"Once promoted, you won’t risk immediate demotion for losing a game or two."

i love this game on videos

This new season works really badly, it makes no sense. You win 5 games and don't go a division up and lose one and you go a division down. Also, why can't you get into a higher league?

I'd like to add my voice to those that don't understand the new ranking system.
Yesterday I won 5 games and lost 1, got "division down". Then today I won all my games I played and then got "division down". I don't understand the new system at all, how can you win but get demoted??

To be quite clear: 3 consecutive losses got me demoted from D2 to D1 in 2v2 although I overall scored 7 goals, had 4 assists and 8 saves.
I wouldn't call that a bad or perfect but absolutely good gameplay at this level and I still got demoted. Makes no sense at all when devs say sth. else -.-

Losing and winning STILL affects your "skill rating". No matter how many goals you will score, how many assists you arrange and how many balls you can safe, you will get demoted, if you have random players in your team (at 2v2 and 3v3) that mess up and thus cause you to lose the match(es)!
That's contrary to what the devs are saying: "The aim of Season 2 is to de-emphasize the importance of single wins or losses and put the focus where it belongs -- consistently playing well and improving your game over time".
