Games for Windows Live shutting down 7/1/2014

So I'm basically creating this forum to see what the reactions are to this news and the fact that it might invalidate some playability on games which utilize GFWL.

I am aware that we can use offline accounts to continue to play these games in a single player capacity, but there's talk of some games necessitating patches - I'm supposing for - maintaining some of the online aspects of the games in question.

Granted, here on Steam, we don't have worry about invalid key codes since they're all associated with our Steam accounts - but it still gets me wondering what others might think of things like this.

On a personal note:
Good riddance GFWL.
