Is a game's contents disturbing you heavily an okay reason to get a refund?
I don't own any games that disturb me, but I'm curious for the future.

People would get disturbed in games they dont like.
Look at the age recommendation, it will give you an idea.

Oh okay.

so the only way I could get a refund is if the game is completley and utterly broken?

Also the rating system/"Age reccomendation" doesn't really work or tell you much.

No, that would be stupid and people would likely abuse the feature by saying a game disturbed them to get a refund when the truth is they simply didn't like it. Also, you can find out how disturbing a game is just by doing some research. The store page has screenshots and sometimes even a video. If you're really worried about this kind of thing, you could go find a video review before you decide if you want to buy the game or not.

I would assume that disturbing content would be considered "buy at your own risk" since it's a matter of opinion (and discretion), not a technical issue or something equally broken in terms of quality that would render the game impossible to play.

Like Boreak said, there would probably be jerks that would exploit a system like refunding for moral or psychological issues with the content of a game.
But I LOVE distubing games, cause I'm a disturbed person!! :D:
