Sale trading cards for in-game purchase

Do you get the sale cards during a sale when you buy the in-game stuff in f2p games? Like packs in Magic: Duels, for example. Or you get the cards only for spending money on the items in the store?

P.S. I know about badge crafting.

The steam sale only applies to the store page and not the community market, so no. Buying cards for f2p or even paid games will not get you the sale cards.

@NyTMare, I think you misunderstood me: I do not mean the community market. I mean the in-game content purchases. There are plenty games out there which have Steam Trading Cards which you can get not by playing the game but by spending money in the game. So I wonder if I buy this in-game content during a sale would I get a sale card in addition to a specific game card or not.

So sale is here and I checked if the in-game purchases would give me the sale trading cards. And it turned out that they did not,.
