Steam denying my purchase, please help.

For the past few days I have tried to buy a game from steam. Whenever I atempt to buy a game I get this message. "Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again" If someone can help me it would be apprecieated. Anyway chao.

i've gotten the same issue but i called my card company and they said there was nothing wrong with it, they even had the charge on file and had approved it but steam still gave me the same message, i sent a ticket to the support team to see if they can fix the issue but i have no idea how long that will take and i really want my games
