Steam Unresponsively slow on April 23 Beta
I updated steam for mac today to the april 23 beta and now it is unresponsive. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yup. I applied for the beta.

Now I can't even use Steam at all.
It starts up, and then it freezes.

Good to see I'm not the only one with the problem. Steam loads but it's unusably slow, and after a while of unresponsive slowness, it'll shut itself down and quit.

Here's a solution, drag the Steam app to the trash and delete it, be sure choose to keep your game files in dialog box that appears, then redownload from steams website and put in apps folder. The steam app will update the first time you run it but it won't be opted into the beta so you'll be ok.

Okay, but I open it and it says I need to be online to update. check connection and try again.
I seem to be at full signal strength, but any ideas?
