issue with steam at startup
every time i open steam it says its updating. i play steam just about daily and every day it says it needs to update. whats wierd is the update screen is only up for a fraction of a sec then its gone. if the update screen dosent appear then steam freezes my computer. I have the mac book pro and im running os x. help please.

unistall it then re install it again. Im on my macbook right now and it works fine for me.

same problem and reinstalled still dose not work

you have to restart computer

well ive now upgraded to os x maverics so that might have fixed any issue. also after some reasearch i have come to learn that the program "MacBook Keeper" may have been the root of all of my problems with my computer
