Mac users need an option to have last release on a platform
I think that in past a game released for Mac or Linux was coming back in last releases in the shop. This has been removed and that's good to avoid dev abuse of this and delay on purpose Mac and Linux releases.

But there's a huge problem for Mac (and Linuc) users that a game released first on Win and finally released on Mac isn't then in last releases. A user option should allow have this, and I bet the store need store the release date per platform. The user could choose Mac or Linux or Win and then have new releases on the specific platform additionally of new releases on any platform.

umm Steam automatcily updates files , but if you are talking about developers not puting a game on Mac at the same time as windows you will have to talk to individual delovers , thats not up to steam.

I believe I understand the question.

You're talking about how on the front page of the Store, there is a section for the games that were recently released, and if a Mac version came after the Windows version, it won't show up there because the game itself is no longer recent.

It's true that it does reduce the visibility of some ports, but checking in the Mac section of the Store, the featured games and new releases will usually give you a decent sense of what's been released.

The featured games box on the front page also has tabs for all three platforms, and it defaults to whatever platform you are viewing the page from.
