Which game should I get?

Ok I want a sandbox game. I am looking at either assassins creed: Brotherhood, or Test Drive Unlimited 2. Now I Hear, TDU 2 Sucks. And ac brotherhood rocks. Easy decision right? Heres my dilemma. I want a sandbox game, but I don't really have any racing games. Now, are there any good sandbox racing games, with good racing, but also stuff to do like in tdu, or should I just get brotherhood. Again to be clear, I do not want a linear, regular racing game. I enjoy some racing but I also need some other stuff to keep my attention, so if its a normal racing game/linear It's not for me. Thanks! EDIT: I've just seen Contagion. A zombie panic source SEQUEL!? YES PLEASE! I think I am going to buy this but if you would recommend it or not please still let me know. Looks awesome though.

look at types of games (like: strategy, FPS, space, indie or anything) then find one you like then either download the demo or watch a video on youtube!
