Half life 2 in Ubuntu
I have trouble running my games Half Life 2 and expansions in Ubuntu 15.04, Windows had no problem but now the action in the game is slow, freezes. My pc is I3- 2.40 Intel core speed, 4 megs ram, video card Intel HD graphics 3000. In terminal appears that my card is fine and running 3D acceleration, then what is not the problem. If anyone knows how please help me, maybe I install something missing. Greetings !!

You might need to install proprietary drivers for your graphics card.

I know Linux drivers may sometimes not work for gaming ( I mean the default open source ones) so you probably need to go to AMD or Nvidia and get the proper proprietary linux drivers from them.

Thanks, I got it, the drivers are fine, but I think that my OS is 64 bits and not work...

64 bits is what you need. 32 bit is bad, can only use 4GB of RAM.
