1440p Monitor (Can be OC to 120hz) Or 1080p 3D 144hz monitor

Hey guys! i'm out looking for a new monitor and i just can't make my mind up to go with 1440p or 1080p with 3D Anyway this is what i'm looking at.

What is your graphics card and cpu? This will help a lot.

I would go with the VG248QE since I don't know slim qnix, and ASUS makes excellent products.

GTX 760 SLI and i5 4670k it's a powerful PC anyway the Asus VG248QE is a good monitor but lacks in colour.

if it was me, & i wish it was, id get the 27". that price is like whoa though, quadruple check it.

That's what i was thinking it's a good price with many good reviews but it is coming from South Korea so i be a bit worried with the shipping like something will happen to the monitor Now the Asus VG248QE has 144hz and 3D but i don't know is the 3D effect worth it.

I would recommend against getting unbranded or unkown brand electronics. You will be looking at your monitor for countless hours so I wouldn't cheap out on it.

What is your budget? If you considering buying a 1440p monitor I would recommend to buy any of these monitors. You would not be disappointed.

If u go from 60hz to 120 hz Refresh rate I sure as hell hope you have the Graphics muscle to push it- iam looking to upgrade my Asus Ve247h its the 1080p monitor I have 2 of them they have a max refresh rate of 70 hz . I dont have the Gpu power to run a 120 hz at the moment.Have a pair of 6970s and a single Gtx 580- Maybe they can iam not sure? But to be on the safe side iam upgrading my Gpus 1st before i step-up the resolution and Refresh rate.1 thing at a time takes 4 ever to complete i tell you!

Well my budget is low as i just upgrade my PC and i only got 280 tops i just don't want to go over that anyway that Qnix QX2710 Evolution II can be overclock to 120hz but i can go with a 3D monitor like i said before but i don't know will it be worth it

24" 1080p go w/ the ASUS...safe bet & insanely good reputation.

i did look up that 27" monitor & its for sale at newegg for the same price or thereabout. definitely buy from there b/c one guy said he had dead pixels & newegg accepted his RMA. i favorited it b/c i might upgrade my monitor soon. if you do end up ordering that one, wd really appreciate if youd shoot me a friend request & tell me how it turns out.

You know what i just go with that 1440p monitor as i have been looking at it for some time now that Asus monitor is good.. but i can't find myself using that 3D effect all the time and also it's a 24" i'm not saying it's bad but i would prefer a 27".
