Ridiculous patching applied by your company to your game….

Have you ever heard of the RSYNC ALGORITHM?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rsync

I am really fed up with the time taken and cost of your constant patches and upgrades…so how about aggregating your patches and using some smarts?

Not everyone is a rich yank living with a low ping T1 internet link, nor is everyone a South Korean with FTTN (Fiber To The Node).

Steam's patching algorithm actually is quite similar to rsync, in that it does only transmit changed portions of files.

Indeed the system is already in place. It's up to each developer to use it or not IIRC.

The SteamPipe migration last year pretty much moved all games to this patching model. What you're asking for basically already exists, by default, for all games.

If a particular dev is deployinig a lot of patches, that's their decision. Those patches are already compressed and use basically something similar to rsync to deploy.
