Steam Community Market broken with Chrome HTTPS Everywhere
The community market where you can place buy or sell orders doesn't work properly with the Chrome extension HTTPS Everywhere added. Specifically the "Recent Activity" section and "Cancel" button for placed buy orders do not work. The first does not show up, and the second does not work when you click it.

Obviously the workaround is to disable the addon.

Well there you go. Don't use third party extension that is not approved by Valve and expect it to just work.

drop Chrome like a hot rock. they basically crippled the browser last month anyway.

this is at least the second thread on the subject. you may want to read it from the beginning before it also disappears.

More organizations should be as concerned about security.

Google aren't concerned about security, at least in this case. They're concerned about drawing as many people as possible to their Web Store.

Just one more reason to continue ignoring Chrome and any Google product.

Actually it will improve security. Extensions have too much control over how the browser operates. Organizations should keep an open mind on ways to improve security.

Going by the number of malware-infested apps that have made their way into Google Play, I have my doubts about that.

HTTPS Everywhere is a respected security app created and maintained by a respected privacy organization. I find it laughable that Google thinks throwing these types of beneficial programs into a walled garden is going to make them any safer.
