If you're planning on playing Borderlands 2 with your friends, then Borderlands 2 will be funnier than Bioshock Infinite.
But if you're gonna do a singleplayer, Bioshock Infinite will be a better choice.
Soloing Borderlands 2 is seriously boring. Just doing the same thing over and over with various useless sidemissions that make you travel back and forth.
Facing same old enemies nonstop are boring too.
On the subject of Bioshock, really just watch a let's play. It is not a fantastic game to play, but it is a really good story in an interesting universe.
