People can't find me in the community search :\

Hey all,

So I try to have people search for my Steam ID "zenfool" and nothing ever comes up for them. Why's that? Do any of you guys have the same issue? I have all my settings to "public" and my account acts normal otherwise. People can still add me back when I add them to my friends list, they just can't bring up my community profile.

Sooo confused.

i just searched for you as 'zenfool' via the 'add friends' button on the friends list and you come up ok.

Alright...thank you Tekraken. Can you find me in the community pages at all? Why would I show up under add a friend and not community? Thanks for looking btw! :)

That is weird. Finds you from the add friend search, but not in community search.

I also found you okay from my 'friends' tab on the main steam client and the web based version so I dont know.

You can always just send them to this thread..... then tell them to click on your icon.

Thanks to all you guys for helping me with this. I figure as long as people can add me as a friend I'm okay with that. I did open up a support ticket with Steam, but who knows what will come of that.

Also, you guys should all add me as I'm a loser and don't have many steam friends!

That is because your community profile name is "Kevin" and not "zenfool"

When i am searching for my friends Fx. Teddy will there pop thousands of profiles up. How can i be sure that i find the right and how can i find the right? Is the only method to look on all pages or is there a smarter method
