Account Randomly Became Limited For No Reason [Solved]

This is not a new account and I have bought games and never had a problem with this but all of a sudden my steam account is now limited and I can do certain things (use market, send friend requests, etc.). Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you're using the beta, opt out.

What makes you think your account is limited?

It tells me when I go to friend request someone, "Your account does not meet the requirements to use this feature. Visit Steam Support for more information" and when I go to support there is no useful info about fixing besides, buy something.

Your account is not Limited.

So there must be some sort of a glitch.

i was going to ask if maybe you had too many friends for your Steam level, but as you are steam level 38 with only under 50 friends that cannot be it. Maybe try to log out of Steam and back in? Or even reboot maybe. Hmmm!

Oh that stinks :( Since you are not in Steam beta, perhaps, try the beta client and see if that works for you?

Steam> Settings> Account> Beta Participation

You could also contact Steam Support, but they take so long to get back to people sometimes that it might not be worth it >.<
