Probably because they don't want their official forum being flooded by people like me urging caution and reqeusting that people don't pre-order the game.

It's likely damage control and I suspect this is going to be a turkey!

I don't get it. Why don't they want people to discuss the game on the gaming distribution platform that is mandatory for everyone who is going to play the game on PC?
Besides the community hub they are doing a sloppy job in regards of the steam storefront. There is no thumbnail and not even an app name when you add the game to the wishlist. http://i.imgur.com/622qf1q.png
I'm sure they are working hard on the game to get it released within the month but things like this make it look like they could care more.
